Fred Waves, the creative alias for Swedish musician Fredrik Sundqvist, spent his teens and early 20s playing in different local bands. Taking his music to the next level by moving to Berlin in 2019, he temporarily relocated to the U.S. in 2021, where he spent months gigging intensely within the club scene of South Florida.Back in Berlin in 2022, Fred Waves officially debuted with the energetic single Take My Time. This was followed by four releases in 2023: Sweet Haze, Dead Flowers, Feel It In My Bones, and Wrong Track.Alongside Fredrik, the band sees Bo Keijmel on bass, Hendrik Görsch and Filip Jankovic on lead guitar and rhythm guitar respectively, Giorgio Murer on drums, and Max Glass on keys.After opening for SONS in March 2023, playing shows in Sweden and Germany, and coming 2nd in the Semi-Finals of the SPH Music Masters contest, Fred Waves is ready for the Berlin stages.

ORA BLU is a Berlin-based alt-pop band inspired by „ora blu,“ the Italian term for the mystical „blue hour“ — that brief time at dawn and dusk when the world is washed in soft, atmospheric blue light. This name perfectly captures their music: dreamy, rhythmic, and cinematic, blending genres to create a soundscape that is as dynamic as it is immersive.Formed by Henrik (drums/production), Marlene (vocals/bass), and Kai (vocals/guitar), ORA BLU originated in 2016 when the three met at university and found common ground in their diverse musical influences. Their tracks layer funky basslines, ambient guitars, and electro- and RnB-infused drum beats, weaving elements of indie- pop, electronic, and funk into an eclectic yet cohesive sound.Listening to ORA BLU feels like a road trip at dawn, an evening on a city rooftop, or a warm summer night in Berlin. Their music draws inspiration from artists like Khruangbin, Little Simz, Bonobo, and FKJ, yet the result is distinctively their own — a seamless fusion of influences that create something altogether fresh and emotional.ORA BLU offers an invitation into a world where styles collide beautifully, delivering performances that feel as immersive and memorable as the blue hour itself.
