DESCRIPTION:A stand up comedy special featuring the best performers in Berlin! Join us for comedy\, drinks\, snacks\, a midnight celebration and more!!!!!!\n\n\nAbout the Show \n \nSo\, what’s going on? Yeah\, we’re having a comedy show. When? New Year’s Eve. Is it live? Yes\, and it’s from the Wall Comedy Club! But you’re being vague right now and there’s way too much to choose from on New Year’s Eve\, what’s actually happening? Comedy. \n \nHere’s the deal. We got an amazing host\, Anna Beros @afberos on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/afberos/?hl=en) and she picked an international lineup of 8 comedians\, all of whom are hilarious. We’re gonna have a two-hour show. We’ll open a little before 8pm\, the show will run from 8:30-10:30 and we’ll have a 15-20 minute break in the middle\, because the management really likes it when you buy drinks :). \n \nOkay\, that’s the first time you’ve mentioned drinks. You have drinks? Yes! We’ve got extra Prosecco glasses just for the event! And we have a full bar\, and while we don’t have snacks\, there is a Späti right next door and the management is actually really cool if you bring in snacks from there! \n \nOkay\, but there’s an elephant in the room. It’s Berlin\, it’s New Year’s Eve\, you’ve mentioned comedy\, the show ending at 10:30pm\, the bar\, and the snacks\, but how late will you be open? Can I watch fireworks there? YES!!! The most fun part of this show is it’s right on Boxi with full view of the festivities! We’ll be open until everyone leaves\, usually around 3am and we’ve even invited other comedians just to hang out after the show just to add to the fun! This show is so unique that it’s not just a show\, but also a full-blown party!!! \n \nAbout the Club\, and really this is for the algorithm\, so feel free to skip\, unless of course you just like reading? \n \nThe Wall Comedy Club was founded on a simple idea\, that literally everything can turn into a joke that can help make people’s days a bit brighter. From our capacity (69 lol)\, to our mistake in asking the German government for permission to build a new Berlin Wall\, (and they approved for some reason!)\, we’d like to invite you to a celebration of how far the stand up comedy scene has grown in the last few years in Berlin. \n \nWhat can you expect from the show? We’ve invited some of the best international comedians who perform regularly in Berlin and throughout Europe for a two hour stand up comedy show. We have a lovely bar with drinks and cocktails and will take a 15 minute intermission roughly half way through the show. If you want to see some of the best Stand Up Comedy in Berlin\, this event is for you! \n \nAbout the Club: The Wall Comedy was founded in January 2020\, truly the best (or worst if you have ever heard of something called „the news“) time. We have stand up shows every day apart from Monday and all the shows are in English except for one show on Sundays which is in German. Our goal is to help grow the stand up community in English and create a truly open space for comedians to shine. \n \nWhat about refunds? Do you do them? And Can I pay with a credit card? Yes to both! We ask that if you request a refund\, you give at least one-day notice so we have time to process it. If you try to refund too close to the event\, we might not see it and can’t refund a ticket within a couple hours of the event. Oh\, and we definitely take cards. \n \nWhat if I want to buy at the door? We can sell you tickets at the door\, but only if we aren’t sold out. If you see the event is sold out online\, we won’t have any tickets available at the door. However\, if we do have open space\, we sell tickets for €25 at the door! \n \nWhere are we located and when do we open? We are located right at Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain. We open at 8pm and the show will start at 8:30pm. If you are looking for something to do before the show\, there is park nearby and a ton of restaurants and activities. We are even close to the East Side Gallery if you want to look at Berlin’s original Wall before dropping by the Wall Comedy Club! \n \nWe look forward to seeing you!
