DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss these three fantastic artists on our stage!\n\n\nBAR BOBU proudly presents live on stage: \n \nCLARA SPELSBERG \nADDY NEMANA \nwith special guest \nALEX DEW \n \ndoors: 19h \ndonation based \nyou can reserve free tickets here to make sure you get in. but we will kindly ask you for a donation at the door. \n \nClara Spelsberg is an East London–raised singer-songwriter whose sound bridges traditional blues\, folk\, jazz\, and soul with a contemporary\, cross-genre edge. Growing up around music\, she began her professional journey as a chorister at eight\, spending nine years singing in Latin and Italian among other languages and learning the violin from a member of the post-punk band The Mekons. This unconventional background epitomises her genre spanning interest and sound which is rooted in tradition yet driven by curiosity. After beginning her journey performing original material in her hometown of London\, Clara travelled through New Orleans and the Southern US in 2023. There\, she performed traditional jazz and blues and absorbed the grit and emotional directness that now shape her song writing. Alongside song writing she also writes fiction\, essays and music reviews. She has also organised fundraising events in Berlin involving over 30 different Berlin based singer-songwriters. She is currently recording and co-producing her debut album in Berlin — an eclectic collection of original songs exploring themes of travel\, curiosity\, ambition\, and heartbreak. The record reflects both her wide-ranging influences and distinctive voice. \n \nAddy Nemana is a Berlin based blues and folk rock musician from Leeds\, England. His repertoire consists of jangly chords and swinging rhythms accompanied by vivid stream-of-consciousness storytelling\, which often finds itself hopping between the realms of the abstract and the concrete. \n \nAlex Dew is an Australian Folk musician that weaves meaningful lyrics with dynamic vocals and intricate fingerpicking to create music that resonates deeply. His introspective sound is influenced by artists including Jackson C. Frank\, Nick Drake\, and Leonard Cohen.
