Discovering Montenegro – a hidden gem in the Balkans

Join me on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes and rich history of Montenegro! **This country is also budget-friendly:** compared to many Western European destinations, Montenegro offers excellent value for money. Accommodation, dining, and activities are generally more affordable (it is possible to pay 9 euro for a big lunch!)

**October is an excellent time to explore this beautiful country!**
October in Montenegro brings cooler, more comfortable temperatures compared to the summer months. Another positive thing is that we can explore popular sites without the overwhelming numbers of tourists.

During our trip we will stay in [Budva](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKhHJsb9A0w&t=2s), depending on the weather rent a kayak to visit its coastal caves. Also we will have:
-a day trips to [Kotor ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDyGYhYj3tU&t=35s)with a hike to ancient fortress of St. John for panoramic views of the [Bay of Kotor](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93XHopm5EXM)
-Herceg Novi – a coastal town known for its lush greenery, historic fortresses, and healing mineral springs
– the [Lake Skadar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LljlVQkLDjA)- the largest lake in the Balkans.

**17 October**
Exploring Budva, optional boat trip to the attractive Island [Sveti Nikola](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8cESoF8-Ck)
**18 October**
Day trip to [Kotor](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDyGYhYj3tU), visiting Kotor Fortress for the most stunning views. Optional we will visit the town Herceg Novi if we have enough time.
**19 October**
If the weather allows, we can visit the [Lake Skadar](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LljlVQkLDjA) and take a boat trip there.
**20 October**
Check-out, walk in Budva, way to the airport in Podgorica

*the schedule may differ from that described above depending on the weather, public transport and other factors.

Flight to Podgorica and back (Self Arranged) – 110 Euro (early-bird)
Accomodation in a big apartment(4 nights) + organizing fee – 150 Euro
