White cliffs at Baltic sea- a day trip to Rügen

**The eventis full**
Rügen is a German Baltic Sea island. The island’s beaches and white chalk cliffs are well-known, including the Königsstuhl on the Jasmund peninsula. UNESCO ennobled the rustic old beech forests in the heart of the national park as a world heritage site.
We will hike about 15 km in the NationalPark Jasmund along the Baltic Sea, enjoying adorable views from above. After the hike there is an option to visit the U-boot museum, which is located in the British submarine “HMS Otus – S 18, one of the largest non-nuclear submarines. (https://hms-otus.com/home/)

**Schedule**
06.20 we meet at Hauptbahnhof
06.33 we take train to Sassnitz, Rügen (with 2 changes)
10.54 we arrive to Sassnitz and begin the hike
16.00 end of the hike, visiting the submarine museum (optional) and lunch in the town.
17.59/19.02 we take the train back
22.09/23.32 we arrive to Berlin

**Costs**
**Train tickets** – you can use your Deutschland ticket
**Organizing expense – 15€** (10€ need to be transferred in advance to PayPal), if you want to make a bank transfer, please write to the host), 5 € – in cash on the day of the trip.
**U-Boot museum – 9€ (+1€ for photo/video permission)**
