Charles Poag is a melancholic gay American multi-instrumentalist

from Nashville, Tennessee. Growing up in a conservative

Christian environment wasn’t his cup of tea so he made his way

to Berlin shortly after completing his Bachelors of Music.

Charles loves yearning, reminiscing, and sulking. His songs are

made up of vague couplets, dancing on the line between

narcissism and self-hatred, accompanied by above-average guitar

playing. On stage, Charles turns into an ironic, but very charming,

wannabe gen z cowboy.

His musical style is a mix of homesick indie and emotionally

charged non-mainstream pop. He manages to captivate

audiences with his unconventional yet relatable songwriting. His

debut EP Cautionary Tale came out in May, and he is currently

working on his next project, with a lot of unreleased songs up his

sleeve.
