Day trip to amazing Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt

Wittenberg is a university town along the River Elbe in eastern Germany, with close ties to Martin Luther, leader of the Protestant Reformation.
We will explore the old town, visit Lutherhaus Museum (the place, where Martin Luther lived) and Protestant Church, climb on its tower (optional) and then hike in the nature along Elbe river.

**Scedule**

10.15 we meet at Hauptbahnhof, platform 3
10.32 we take RE 3 to Lutherstadt Wittenberg
11.59 we arrive and begin to explore the town
14.00 lunch at a restaurant
15.00 we begin our walk to the nature
18.59 we take the train to Berlin
20.30 we arrive to Berlin Hauptbahnhof

**Costs**
**Train tickets** – you can use your Deutschland ticket
**Organizing expense** – **15**€ (**5€** need to be transfered in advance to the PayPal habibuscha@gmail.com, if you want to make bank transfer, please write to the host), **10 €** – in cash on the day of the trip.
**Entrance to the church tower – 3€**
**Entrance to the Lutherhaus – 6 €**
