„A melange of Folk and Indie“ – The Berlin/Hamburg based duo Ezy Schubert has lots of stories to tell.Wondering about self-discovery, breaking free from conditions and finding identity, their music is filled with melancholic details and creative sounds evolving around minimalistic guitar parts.Their songs unravel from mellow folk-ballads to a vivid explosion of rhythms and catchy melodies, the warm production of the signature Ezy Schubert sound brings artists like „Arcade Fire“, „Beirut“ and „Black Country, New Road“ to mind. Complementary to their musical arrangements are their playful and often abstract lyrics, telling embellished stories and fantastic tales about a variety of fictional characters.The Duo released their carefully curated and folk-influenced Debut EP „The Adequate Committee“ in 2024 and got to play their first festival show at „Feel Festival“ 2024. They are currently working on their debut Album, with at least 2 new single-releases set for 2025.
