Léon The Singer Dances between hyper pop, intimate songwriting, and strong 80’s influences. With his latest EP ‚NUMB-ERS‘, the Franco-German artist delivers a personal, minimalist and bewitching project, recorded alongside producer SMOGY. In a cabaresque, dark and androgynous universe, The Singer’s new songs are about mourning, dancing and rising from the ashes. After a career as a professional dancer, and dance studies at Germany’s renowned Folkwang Universität Der Künste, Léon The Singer is launching his musical career in full in 2019 with his self-produced debut album ‚Projections‘ and its memorable first single ‚Unpredictable‘. The Montpellier-born artist never ceases to surprise, mixing musical styles and performing arts. An „hybrid“ would certainly be the best adjective to define Léon The Singer, who doesn’t fit into boxes, but rather deconstructs them.
