Loki Beckons is the Artist name of Lachlan Becke, an Australian Songwriter/Producer who aims to acknowledge the dysfunction of an already… challenging… industry that is the various global scenes of modern music… in a post-pandemic world.
Loki has learned from and integrated many genres into his unique sound, from HipHop to Metal, Jazz to EDM, all rounded off with a lighthearted approach to the very real irony of this strange and unpredictable world.
Sometimes Loki’s styles are slow, soft, gentle, reminiscent of the soothingly intimate tones of Jeff Buckley… and naturally, what experiences the gentle lows, will also experience the powerful highs, as the tempo increases and more collectively minded themes take on the form of a bold yet tasteful movement that is all things jazzy-grunge-and-groove… an aspiring songbird, who blurs the lines between entertainment, performance, and discourse, Loki is all for the spontaneity of LIVE performance, especially when the audience is willing…
